Shot with a Kodak Playsport Zi5. Took the Catalina Flyer out of Newport Beach, CA for a 1hr 20 min open air crossing of the Pacific Ocean to Avalon Bay, Catalina Island, CA for a day excurision. Beautiful weather (although a bit windy at times) and explored the island via rented golf cart with a group of 8 other friends. Walked around shops, ate lunch, took in the sights. Great day. Great friends.

For my 35th birthday we went to Catalina Island for the day. Here we are on an 800-foot line off the Avalon, CA coast. Our boat looks like a toy down below, and you can get a perspective of just how high we are by watching our dangling feet!
