Tagesausflug/ Daytrip – Flying Fish Catalina & Saona Island
Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Iberostar Bavaro in Punta Cana über Neckermann-reisen gebucht. Der Veranstalter (Iberdom) bietet
verschiedene Tagesausflüge, unter anderem auch den Ausflug Flying Fish. Dies ist ein Schnorcheltrip zu einem Riff vor Catalina Island.
Anschließend geht es weiter nach Saona Island zum Mittagessen. Nach ein paar Stunden Aufenthalt fährt man auf dem Rückweg an der Badewanne der
Karibik vorbei. Dies ist eine Stelle an der das Wasser warm und sehr flach ist. Selbst Einheimische kommen mit ihren Booten dort hin und
verbringen den Sonntag auf der Yacht. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Tagesausflug. Sehr zu empfehlen.
Our tour operator Neckermann-reisen offered several daytrips for the Dominican Republic. One was the Flying Fish. This is a snorkeling trip to catalina and Saona island. Another great stop is in the so called bathing tub of the caribbean. This is an area where the water level is low and even a kid can walk around. This attraction is also used by the local people. On Sundays the bay is full of nice boats. I can highly recommend this trip.
