The Catalina Express
August 30, 2011 Riding the Catalina Express from Long Beach, California to Avalon on Santa Catalina Island is twenty two miles away and takes about an hour. Passing by the Queen Mary ship in the Long Beach harbor and seeing a school of dolphins are some of the sights on the journey. Catalina is a great little get-away and a fun town to visit. You can check out the ride to Catalina information at www.catalinaexpress.com
